From new builds to structural re-fits and updating interiors, Old Town Boatwork's team of boat-builders has decades of experience in traditional plank on frame construction and wood composite techniques.

  

Our facility on the Lunenburg Waterfront can expand to accommodate large yachts either alongside our main wharf or haul-out on the hard under purpose built tents.

Our main workshop is also only fifty yards from the Marine Railway of the Lunenburg Foundry, that can accommodate ships up to 1600 tons.

Any internal boat cabinetry can be built from scratch or adapted from existing structure.

We often have several joinery projects on the go and use templates so that most of the woodwork can happen in the shop with the least amount of intrusion on the yacht interior.

Joinery projects range from full interior rebuilds to small single piece additions (like this compass plinth).

We provide regular maintenance to several classic yachts including the Bluenose 2, and pride ourselves on treating them with the respect and appropriate attention they deserve.

Consistent upkeep is the key difference between a great boat and an expensive boat.

We also provide haul out and winter storage to a number of local boats. Indoors, outside, and under tents.
